What happened to the restaurant in "Sojin's House"? It's no longer possible to visit

The variety show "Sojin's House" aired its final episode just a month ago, but the show was filmed last winter.

A spin-off of "Youn's Kitchen," "Sojin's House" centers on cast members Lee Seojin, Jung Yumi, Park Seojun, BTS's V, and Choi Woo-sik running their own Korean restaurant in Bacalar, Mexico.

Though the cast's stay was only temporary, lasting just one week, so many customers enjoyed it that they thought it was a permanent establishment. Some customers even came back to eat during "Sojin's House's" short operating hours.

Still, even if the cast of "Sojin's House" couldn't stay forever, the location and decor looked so good that perhaps someone else could take over and run the restaurant.

So what happened to the restaurant after filming?

ARMYs visited the Bacalar site and were able to see Seojin's House in person, or at least what remains of it. In some ways, it was a famous restaurant they'd seen on TV.

But it was just a ruin. And it was in the middle of being demolished. Still, there was a lot left of Seojin's House, including sticky notes, decorations, posters, and even nonperishable food items left by customers.

The video went viral on TikTok, with 28.5K views at the time of writing. ARMYs were shocked to see what happened to the restaurant afterwards.

After the demolition began, there was still a lot left, so ARMYs suggested to OP (the original poster) that they take the things. OP tried to buy items such as posters, but wasn't allowed.

This video was filmed a month ago, so around the time the series ended. OP said that the restaurant was demolished because the location used for Seojin's House is connected to a hotel that they wanted to expand.
